I know you Northerners are thinking that I should just shut up and enjoy that it’s at least going to get into the mid 60′s this afternoon, but I don’t live in the North!! It’s cold!! 
At least you guys get “seasons”! A chance to adjust. For us, it was hot just last week. It flips from hot to cold in an instant here. You go to sleep with your air conditioner on 76, next thing you know it’s 63 degrees in your house.
I personally like our short winter season. In all honesty, I get cold when it’s 70 degrees out much to Chris’ amusement, but I’m a Florida girl! If I can’t wear a tshirt and no shoes on Christmas day then I’d be miserable. Still, it’s nice to dust off the old winter jackets for their annual three week usage (I mean total over the entire 3 month “winter season” We just bought the girls winter coats the other night and I hate to think we spent so much money on something they’ll long out grow before they wear out. Such is life I guess
